The Bible says in John chapter one and verse twenty-nine that John saw Jesus coming towards a mini said this behold the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world one of the names given to Jesus is the lamb of god and is a precious name because you see it had great meaning and significance to the Jewish people on that particular day and I'm not I know for me it has great meaning because one day I met Jesus is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of Sammy tippet not only the whole world but me personally I remember walking into a church one night and I was so burdened my I was carrying a load of guilt and shame in my life and and and my heart was so heavy and then I heard a man talk about 


Jesus, I had to know all the terminology in the words but I I met Jesus and Jesus came into my life any for gave my sins and when I walked out of that church I was different because the lamb of god had taken away my sins he had forgiven me he had changed me and I was a new person I met the lamb of god you see when when John the Baptist made that statement behold the lamb of god in their culture they understood because every deck at the time there was a lamb being offered for sacrifice for the sins of people and so now here is the eternal lamb of god Jesus is the eternal lamb of god he was not like any other person he was all god and all men born of a virgin conceived of the Holy Spirit he came to this earth lived a sinless perfect holy life and then he died on the cross he took the sins for the whole world he died on that cross that you might be forgiven that I might be forgiven the people in India in the Philippines in Australia in America in China all over the world might be forgiven of their sins.

He takes away the sins of the world and you know how the Bible concludes have hidden in the book of revelation we get a glimpse of heaven and there's a song this being sung about Jesus and you know what it is it's worthy is the lamb who was slain for the sins of the world Jesus is the word the one there's no other this worthy of our praise and glory and honor but Jesus because he is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world so why don't you get ready for heaven by just worshipping the lamb of God who takes away our sins.
